Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians and Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) with examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Provide compassionate animal care, including feeding, grooming, and exercise.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary staff.
  • Proficiently run laboratory tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis.
  • Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Safely restrain animals during examinations and procedures.
  • Educate pet owners on animal care, medication administration, and post-care instructions.
  • Assist with client communication, including scheduling appointments and answering inquiries.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal care procedures, and aseptic techniques.
  • Ability to handle animal restraint effectively and safely.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, veterinarians, and team members.
  • A positive attitude and ability to contribute to our supportive, team-oriented culture.
