Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, alerting the team as needed.
  • Perform basic animal care tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and preparing patients for exams.
  • Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas are clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Assist with patient handling and restraint in a gentle and professional manner.
  • Educate clients on general pet care, wellness, and preventative treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and an understanding of animal behavior.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for animal welfare and a genuine interest in supporting pets and their families.
