As a large general practice, we handle a diverse caseload, providing everything from routine wellness exams to advanced treatments. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, alerting the team as needed.
- Perform basic animal care tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and preparing patients for exams.
- Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas are clean, stocked, and organized.
- Assist with patient handling and restraint in a gentle and professional manner.
- Educate clients on general pet care, wellness, and preventative treatments.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong commitment to patient care and an understanding of animal behavior.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for animal welfare and a genuine interest in supporting pets and their families.
