🐶 Key Responsibilities
-
Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
-
Monitor hospitalized animals, especially after surgery
-
Administer medications under supervision
-
Perform or assist with diagnostics: radiographs, bloodwork, fecal analysis
-
Restraining animals during procedures (e.g. blood draws, nail trims)
-
Sterilize surgical instruments and maintain equipment
-
Maintain inventory and stock supplies
-
Clean/disinfect cages, kennels, and clinical areas
-
Handle feeding, bathing, and general care
-
Answer phones, provide customer service, and support clients
-
Perform other duties as needed to support hospital operations
✅ Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old
-
Team player with a strong work ethic

Ability to multitask and work independently

Must love animals, even when they’re ill, anxious, or aggressive

Experience preferred (1+ years), but not required

Must be physically capable:
-
Lift 40 lbs unassisted
-
Stand/walk for long periods

Bend/squat frequently
-

Able to work well with all hospital staff levels
