Experienced Veterinary Assistant Wanted!

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and help make the world a better place for pets (and their people)? We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our fun-loving, hard-working team!

What You’ll Do:

  • 🐱 Help our pet parents: Check in rooms, obtain thorough patient histories, keep families informed, calm, and confident—answering questions, giving updates, and providing client education. Our clients and their pets mean the world to us!
  • 🐕 Assist with patient care: From comforting an anxious pet to prepping for procedures, you’ll be hands-on with all the furry friends who walk through our doors.
  • 🐾 Support our veterinary team: Assist doctors and techs in examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
  • ✨ Keep the clinic running smoothly: From cleaning and organizing to keeping track of supplies, you’ll help ensure everything is tidy and in order.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 🐾 Prior experience: Bring your existing veterinary knowledge! We will all learn from each other and help you develop in the areas you are most interested in.
  • ? Hands-on skills: Whether it’s prepping vaccines, drawing blood, placing an IV catheter, taking radiographs or cleaning a room in between appointments - you’re comfortable in a vet hospital. Need some further training in these areas? We can help!
  • ❤️ Passion for animals: You must love pets of course! From playful puppies to sassy cats, and wiggly weasels. We see dogs, cats, and small mammals. We love them all!
  • ?‍♂️ Team spirit: We work hard, we know our purpose, and we have a lot of fun along the way. We hold each other accountable and participate in a kind, strong, and collaborative culture. We are better as one.
  • ? Quick thinker: Veterinary assistants are always on their toes. You’ll need to adapt to fluid situations and prioritize your tasks.
