Location: Denver, CO

Job Type: Full-Time

About Us:

At Broadview Animal Clinic, we’re all about providing compassionate care for our patients, whether they’re playful puppies or curious cats. We’re looking for a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team and help us deliver excellent veterinary care in a welcoming, supportive environment. If you’re passionate about animals and want to be a key part of a caring, collaborative team, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with Patient Care: You’ll be right there with our veterinarians, helping with everything from routine exams to more involved procedures. Whether it’s prepping for a procedure or offering comfort to a nervous pup, you’ll be hands-on in every part of the process.
  • Client Communication: You’ll interact with pet parents, explaining treatments, answering questions, and providing guidance on how to care for their pets. Your friendly demeanor will help build strong relationships with clients.
  • Administer Medications: You’ll help administer medications and ensure each pet is as comfortable as possible throughout their treatment.
  • Lab Support: Collect samples and run basic lab tests, providing important information to the veterinary team to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Supply & Facility Maintenance: Help manage inventory, making sure the clinic is well-stocked and organized, and assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Educate Clients: You’ll offer advice and information to clients about proper pet care, including nutrition, grooming, and preventive health.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Animal Care Passion: You have a natural love for animals and a genuine interest in their well-being.
  • Communication Skills: You’re able to explain things clearly to clients and collaborate effectively with your team.
  • Attention to Detail: Whether it’s preparing medications or keeping track of supplies, you’re organized and thorough in everything you do.
  • Team Player: You enjoy working with others and thrive in a cooperative, friendly environment.
  • Amazing if You Have Experience: If you’ve worked in a veterinary clinic before or have animal care experience, great! If not, we’re happy to train the right person.

Why You’ll Like Working With Us:

  • Great Team Environment: We’re a tight-knit group that supports each other and loves what we do.
  • Flexible Hours: We know work-life balance is important, so we offer flexible scheduling to fit your needs.
  • Opportunity for Growth: Whether you’re interested in pursuing more advanced veterinary roles or just want to learn more, there’s room to grow here.
  • Work with Animals: You’ll spend your days caring for pets and making a positive impact on their health and well-being.
