Job Description

We are accepting applications for a Full-Time Veterinary Barn Assistant. Job responsibilities include cleaning stalls, feeding and watering equine patients, cleaning water buckets, troughs, and facilities, completing general maintenance of our facilities, and maintaining a high level of communication between hospital leaders and barn staff.

The ideal candidate would be hard-working, reliable, a team player, and would have previous experience in a similar position. Qualified applicants should be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and a reliable source of transportation, be able to lift 50lbs or more, and willing to undergo a background check. Preference will be given to individuals who have experience operating general farm equipment (e.g., tractor) and have previous horse experience.  

For candidates with prior horse experience, please include your equine background in your resume or within a separate cover letter.
