Veterinary Client Services Representative

Hillside Animal Hospital

Job Description

We’re Hiring: Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) 🐾

Are you a master of multitasking with a heart for animals and their humans? Join our team!

At Hillside Animal Hospital, we don’t just treat pets; we support families. We are looking for a Client Service Representative who is more than just a receptionist. You are the face of our clinic, the voice of calm in a crisis, and the primary architect of the "client experience."

🌟 Why This Isn’t Your Average Reception Job

You are the bridge between a pet owner’s concern and a veterinarian’s care. Whether it’s celebrating a new puppy’s first visit or offering a hand to hold during a difficult goodbye, you make a tangible difference in the lives of our community every single day.

📍 What You’ll Be Doing

  • The First Impression: Welcoming clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine smile.
  • The Air Traffic Controller: Managing a multi-line phone system, scheduling complex appointments, and triaging emergencies with a cool head.
  • The Educator: Processing prescription requests and helping clients understand the "why" behind their pet’s care.
  • The Administrator: Accurate record-keeping, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, inviting lobby environment.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: At least 2 years in a high-volume customer service role (Veterinary, Medical, or Hospitality experience is a major plus!).
  • Communication Skills: You can explain complex medical instructions clearly and show deep empathy to those in distress.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfortable with learning new practice management software, proficient in Microsoft Office, and a knack for social media.
  • The "Pawsitive" Attitude: You’re a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

🎁 What’s In It For You?

  • Competitive Pay: $16-$18 per hour.
  • Pet Perks: Significant discounts on veterinary care, lab work, and pharmacy for your own furry family members.
  • Growth: CE (Continuing Education) opportunities.
  • The Basics: Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401k, vacation time and uniform allowance.
