Veterinary Client Services Representative
Hillside Animal Hospital
Job Description
We’re Hiring: Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) πΎ
Are you a master of multitasking with a heart for animals and a natural gift for connecting with people? Join our team! At Hillside Animal Hospital, we don’t just treat pets; we support families and cultivate lifelong bonds. We are looking for a Client Service Representative who is far more than just a receptionist. You are the ultimate face of our clinic, the warm voice of comfort in a crisis, and the primary architect of the entire "client experience." π
Why This Isn’t Your Average Reception Job
You are the bridge between a pet owner’s concern and a veterinarian’s care, turning everyday interactions into meaningful relationships. Whether you are remembering a client's name, engaging in friendly small talk about their week, celebrating a new puppy’s first visit, or offering a hand to hold during a difficult goodbye, you make a tangible difference. You are the person who notices when someone needs a door held open, a helping hand to the car, or just a compassionate ear.
π What You’ll Be Doing
• The Ultimate Face of the Clinic: Welcoming clients and patients by name with warmth, professionalism, and an infectious, genuine smile.
• Master of Rapport & Relationships: Building deep, lasting trust with our clients through genuine connection, small talk, and thoughtful gestures.
• The Air Traffic Controller: Managing a multi-line phone system, scheduling complex appointments, and triaging emergencies with a cool head.
• Concierge Care: Actively assisting clients, whether that means holding doors open for an anxious pet owner, helping carry heavy food bags, offering a cup of coffee, or comforting someone in distress.
• The Educator: Processing prescription requests and helping clients understand the "why" behind their pet’s care.
• The Administrator: Accurate record-keeping, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, inviting, and hospitable lobby environment.
β
What You Bring to the Table
• Experience: At least 2 years in a high-volume customer service or hospitality role where building client rapport was your top priority (Veterinary or Medical experience is a major plus!).
• Elite Communication Skills: You excel at casual small talk and show deep, authentic empathy to those in distress.
• Tech-Savviness: Comfortable with learning new practice management software, proficient in Microsoft Office, and a knack for social media.
• The "Pawsitive" Attitude: You’re a relationship-driven problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
π What’s In It For You?
• Competitive Pay: $16-$18 per hour.
• Pet Perks: Significant discounts on veterinary care, lab work, and pharmacy for your own furry family members.
• Growth: CE (Continuing Education) opportunities.
• The Basics: Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401k, vacation time, and a uniform allowance.
π Ready to join the pack?
If you’re ready to combine your professional hospitality skills with your love for animals, we want to hear from you.
