- Manage high-acuity emergency and ICU patients, including triage, stabilization, and advanced critical care treatment planning.
- Lead or participate in interdisciplinary rounds while partnering with specialty services to create integrated treatment plans for complex patients.
- Perform advanced therapies, including mechanical ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, therapeutic plasma exchange, hemofiltration, and other critical care interventions supported by CASE's advanced ICU capabilities.
- Support program growth, teaching initiatives, and clinical excellence across the Emergency and Critical Care service.
- Engage in continuing education, mentorship, research opportunities, and professional development within a collaborative specialty environment.
- Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado veterinary licensure.
- Board Certification (DACVECC) or Residency Trained in Emergency & Critical Care.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
