Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic (AAVEC), located in beautiful Annapolis, MD is looking for 2 criticalists to join our team! 

Join us in Annapolis, Maryland, a contemporary city where four centuries of architecture embrace21st-century living. Here, all roads lead to the water, and our streets are filled with live music and culinary genius. Nestled in the picturesque Chesapeake Bay, 5 minutes from Historic Annapolis, is our new state-of-the-art 28,000 sq. ft. emergency referral center open 24 hours / 375 days a year.

We have 28 veterinarians, 60 veterinary nurses, 10 lab technicians, 10 assistants, and 15 client service representatives. In addition to our extraordinary support staff, our doctors have a dedicated personal assistant in their office to run various errands throughout the day. We have a spacious break room and outdoor picnic seating area. If you are looking for a moment of peace and quiet the ER department has an exclusive relaxation room located away from the ICU with a desk and bed available to either write records or take a quick nap.

Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic (AAVEC) was founded in 1991 and is a member of the Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center. Additional specialty services include oncology, radiation oncology, internal medicine, advanced soft-tissue & orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, neurology, imaging, cardiology, radiology, and physical rehabilitation. Advanced diagnostic testing is available on-site, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, and a fully updated IDEXX in- house laboratory. Fluoroscopy is coming soon! Our spacious new hospital features 8 surgical suites, a comprehensive pharmacy, 3 radiology suites, an isolation ward with a vestibule and dedicated walking area, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, 4 snyder oxygen suites, bluetooth telemetry, and an underwater treadmill.
