Veterinary Criticalist

Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA)

Job Description

We are currently seeking two criticalists (Board Certified or Residency Trained) to join our criticalist at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AERA) in West Caldwell, NJ.  This is a FANTASTIC opportunity to be part of developing a critical care service in one of New Jersey’s premier specialty centers in a very desirable location.

From its humble beginnings as an after-hours emergency clinic in 1977 AERA is a state-of-the-art hospital with specialists in Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, and Surgery.  We are thrilled to be having our Radiation Oncologist start this August.  We recently moved into a brand new, beautiful 45,000 square foot (!!) facility just down the road from our current location.  With on-site MRI, CT, Varian Halcyon, C-Arm, and other state-of-the-art equipment our doctors have everything they need to practice superior quality medicine.

West Caldwell offers some of the best that New Jersey has to offer.  Want to live in the city? New York City is just 25 miles away and an easy reverse commute.  Looking to live in the country?  The Kittatinny mountains and lakes of northern NJ are minutes away.  Love to travel?  Newark Airport is only a 1/2 an hour away.

AERA provides a positive work-life balance with excellent salary and benefits.  We offer paid time off, relocation, a 401K with matching and a very generous CE allowance.
