Are you interested in practicing high-quality specialty veterinary medicine with a tight knit group of enthusiastic specialists and emergency doctors? Care Center in Dayton, OH is looking for a Critical Care specialist to round out our specialty team and elevate our inpatient care to the next level. You will be joining a strong team including 8 seasoned Emergency Doctors and specialists in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Surgery, and Radiology! We start each day with inpatient rounds in the spirit of collaboration and providing top-notch care to our patients. You will have the autonomy to build the Critical Care Service of your dreams, while joining a network of three criticalists including our Medical Director (Rachel Halpin, DACVECC) and criticalists at our sister hospital in Cincinnati (Ann Peruski, DACVECC & Marlo Perich, DACVECC).

Care Center is staffed with skilled and compassionate veterinary technicians that are eager for education and development. We support the growth of Veterinary Technicians by providing a tiered advancement program that provides technicians a structured path to build a lifelong career in veterinary medicine. We are looking for a Criticalist that will engage in the development and support our nursing team. In addition to great people, we have all the bells and whistles, including high flow oxygen therapy, a Maquet mechanical ventilator, dedicated Critical Care Unit with pet bed, blood gas analyzer, and much more.
