Part-Time Veterinary Exam Room Assistant – Gettysburg, PA Confederate Woods Veterinary Hospital is excited to welcome a new doctor to our team, and we’re looking for a Part-Time Veterinary Exam Room Assistant to help support our growing practice! This role is perfect for someone who loves animals, is great with people, and wants to make a difference in a fast-paced, team-oriented veterinary environment. What You’ll Do: Assist during exams by safely restraining pets and supporting the doctor Prepare prescriptions and educate clients on pet care and preventative health Maintain clean, fully stocked exam rooms and treatment areas Support with lab samples, medications, and recordkeeping Deliver warm, compassionate client and patient care from check-in to check-out We’re Looking For: A friendly, dependable team player who communicates well Someone comfortable working hands-on with dogs and cats Prior animal care experience is required Must be 18+ and a high school graduate (or equivalent) Shifts: 3–4 per week (approx. 22–27 hours) No weekends for this role!
