Doddridge Animal Clinic Offers Up to a $2,500 Stipend for 2025 Clinical Year Externships

Doddridge Animal Clinic, proudly part of National Veterinary Associates (NVA), is excited to offer clinical year veterinary students the opportunity to join our growing team. About Our Hospital:

Doddridge Animal Clinic is a well-established, multi-doctor small-animal practice in Corpus Christi with over 80 years of combined veterinary experience amongst our team. Our modern & beautifully renovated facility includes six exam rooms, separate surgery and dental suites, and a spacious treatment area, providing an ideal setting for veterinary students to gain hands-on experience. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care for small animals and offer a collaborative environment where externs can learn from a dynamic team of veterinarians. This is an excellent opportunity for clinical year students to develop essential skills and expand their knowledge in small animal medicine.

Externship Details:

Externs will work closely with our experienced veterinarians and gain hands-on experience in:

  • Physical exams and diagnostics
  • Surgical procedures and dentistry services
  • Treatment plans and medical management
  • Client communication and teamwork

Externships typically range from 2 to 8 weeks, offering exposure to small animal medicine, allowing externs to develop essential skills in a variety of areas.

Stipend:
