The Opportunity

As Hospital Manager, you’ll partner closely with the Managing Veterinarian and leadership team to oversee daily operations and guide the hospital’s overall performance. You’ll play a key role in driving financial success, optimizing workflows, and fostering a positive, supportive culture where both patients and team members can thrive.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires regular on-site presence to effectively support staff, clients, and hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of hospital P&L, with accountability for financial performance

  • Partner with regional leadership to analyze trends and forecast operational needs

  • Oversee inventory, accounts receivable, payroll, and cost controls

  • Develop staff schedules and manage labor expenses

  • Lead process improvement initiatives across client service, operations, and administration

  • Champion change and share best practices

  • Implement new technologies and operational initiatives

  • Establish, promote, and protect hospital culture

  • Track and maintain licensure for all DVMs

  • Coach team members, provide feedback, and navigate difficult conversations

  • Model and reinforce exceptional client service standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred

  • 3–5 years of management experience, including customer service leadership

  • Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based environment strongly preferred

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually
