Are you a veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist looking to make Asheville your home in the stunning mountains of Western North Carolina? South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES), formerly known as Upstate Veterinary Specialty Pet Hospital - Asheville, is on an exciting growth journey, and we’re seeking a passionate internist to join our remarkable team! 

 

We’re proud to announce we’re under new management, with a focus on innovation and teamwork. Plus, we now have a trained sonographer to support ultrasounds and enhance patient care! 

 

Our team has recently relocated to a 34,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, giving us the space and resources to grow while continuing to serve our loyal referral community. With cutting-edge equipment like a spacious new endoscopy suite, MRI, CT scanner, interventional radiology suite with fluoroscopy, and a Holmium: YAG laser, you’ll have the tools you need to provide exceptional care. 

 

At SAVES, you’ll work alongside a diverse group of specialists and emergency doctors in critical care, neurology & neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, and surgery. We’re looking for someone with exceptional talent, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, a sense of humor, and a passion for collaboration. 

 

Our practice is supported by a referral relationship manager and a marketing manager to build awareness of the SAVES brand and services among both the referral and pet owner communities. We’re also proud to be an AAHA-accredited referral center.**
