Peak Veterinary Referral Center, a premier multi-specialty and urgent-care hospital in beautiful northwestern Vermont, is seeking a Board‑certified or equivalent Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our dedicated team.

• 7‑day‑a‑week urgent care

What You’ll Bring

Credentials: Board certification or equivalency in Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM/ECVIM)

Experience: 2–3+ years in internal medicine

Diagnostic & Imaging

• Computed Tomography (CT) 

• Digital Radiography (X‑rays) 

• Ultrasound & Echocardiography, with guided aspirates/biopsies 


Endoscopy / Video Scoping

• Bronchoscopy, Cystoscopy, Endoscopy, Rhinoscopy 


In‑House Lab

• Real‑time diagnostic testing and pathology for rapid clinical decision‑making


Advanced Surgical Suites

• Fully equipped OR with anesthetic and monitoring tools 

• Minimally invasive surgery: Arthroscopy, Laparoscopy 

• Orthopedic, soft tissue, and neurologic surgical capabilities 


Oncology Resources

• Chemotherapy, electrochemotherapy, and surgical oncology supported by CT, radiography, and ultrasound 


Schedule & Perks

• 4-day workweek with no required weekend in‑hospital coverage

• Flexible scheduling considered for the right candidate
