Job Description

Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology is seeking a residency trained or board-certified Medical Oncologist to join our team; with potential to grow into a Medical Director of our specialty services available.


As a medical oncologist at AVIM&O, you will benefit from a four-day, set schedule work week with and you will have the ability to design the treatment program that best suits you as we relaunch our medical oncology service.


AVIM&O was established in 1992 and AVIM&O is a member practice of Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center, an integrated specialty referral hospital with specialists in cardiology and a VECCS Level II emergency and critical care practice with ICU service. AVIM&O also has practice locations in Annapolis and Towson, Maryland and is supported by Ethos Veterinary Health.

  • Dedicated spaces for chemotherapy prep and administration
  • Vimago cone beam CT
  • Olympus 190 series video endoscopes
  • Multiple rigid scopes
  • Phillips EPIQ5 ultrasounds
  • I-Stat
  • Digital radiography
  • Benchtop in-hospital lab systems
  • Advanced monitoring
