Veterinary Medical Oncologist

Nashville Veterinary Specialists

Job Description

Nashville Veterinary Specialists is a young, but well-established and growing 24-hour emergency and specialty practice with a referral base of more than 200 veterinarians and a growing caseload. We are seeking a 3rd Medical Oncologist (residency trained or boarded diplomate) to join our Nashville location, a busy, multi-specialty practice.

Our hospital currently employs boarded diplomats in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Cardiology, and Neurology. Specialty equipment includes on-site CT and MRI, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, cystoscopy, fluoroscopy suite and electrodiagnostic. Round-the-clock care is provided for all our patients through our 24-hour emergency services. We work out of two newly constructed facilities totaling 34,000 square feet. We are also deeply committed to environmental sustainability, such as a rain collection system, solar panels, composting and recycling. We participate in multiple community volunteer opportunities such as Second Harvest, Room at the Inn, and the Cumberland River Project.

Nashville remains one of America's top cities to move to for its strong business climate, mild weather, some of the best schools in the country, and a fabulous laid-back lifestyle. People are flocking to Tennessee to enjoy no state income tax, and a more affordable life than most large cities can offer. You can raise a family or have the fun city life in a wonderful, centralized area of the country that is easy to travel to/from. There is easy wonderful access to outdoor activities like hiking and water sports, lakes, mountains, professional sports teams, and arguably the country's best music scene with upcoming stars from all music genres.

In addition to a competitive salary, NVS offers a comprehensive benefits package and a relocation bonus. We are looking for a hardworking and compassionate Medical Oncologist with broad abilities and a strong desire to contribute to our team. NVS focuses on delivering the highest quality care to our patients, an incredibly collaborative environment, great client experience, and pride ourselves on always working at improving our team health.
