Veterinary Nurse Assistant (Part-Time) – Growing Team!

Gettysburg, PA
Part-Time | 18–25 hours per week | Weekdays only

Confederate Woods Veterinary Hospital is growing! We’re welcoming a new doctor to our team, and with this exciting expansion comes the opportunity to hire a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Nurse Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with restraint and care of dogs and cats
  • Support treatments, procedures, and patient documentation
  • Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, kennels, and surgical suites
  • Help with radiographs and laboratory tasks
  • Track inventory and perform general administrative duties
  • Provide compassionate care and comfort to all patients

What We’re Looking For

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine love for animals
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must be 18+ and a high school graduate (or equivalent)

Schedule

  • 2 to 4 shifts per week
  • Approximately 18–25 hours/week
  • Flexibility required to meet hospital needs
  • Monday to Friday only (closed weekends)

Compensation

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience
