Veterinary Medical Oncologist

VRC Specialty Hospital

Job Description

VRC Specialty Hospital, located in Malvern, PA is a comprehensive, specialty veterinary healthcare center opened 365 days a year for appointments and emergency care that offers advanced diagnostic testing, treatment, and ongoing management of a variety of medical conditions.

We are looking to continue to build and redefine our Medical Oncology Department. We are seeking an Oncologist to join our current Medical Oncologist! We have a group of experienced and personable team players and provide a friendly, approachable, and integrative approach to cancer care.

The hospital features dedicated chemotherapy suites to ensure safe and controlled administration of chemotherapeutic agents, and we are one of only a few private practices in the country to offer the Varian 2100 C/D Linear Accelerator with Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT). IMRT delivers radiation treatments with extreme precision and dose control — the same sophisticated technology used to treat cancer in humans. This advanced technology enables us to treat cancers previously untreatable with radiation therapy, sparing some patients the invasive techniques of surgery and/or chemotherapy.

In addition to oncology, other hospital specialties include cardiology, dentistry & oral surgery, emergency & critical care, internal medicine, rehabilitative and integrative medicine, radiology, surgery (orthopedic, neuro, soft tissue).

The VRC Specialty Hospital team includes ECC, Medical Oncology, Surgery, Radiology, Rehab, Acupuncture, and Neurology. This team believes in collaboration in order to provide optimal patient outcomes. The hospital has a C-arm, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and endoscopes. As part of Ethos, you will have the expertise of many specialists across the country who all share the same vision of collaboration and patient care which will allow you the opportunity to grow and develop the skills and practice style of which you have dreamed.

VRC Specialty Hospital offers an exceptionally generous compensation package as well as great benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, and vacation.

Located just 25 miles west of Philadelphia, Malvern is in Chester county which is one of the most picturesque areas you can visit in the nation! Known for its horticulture, heritage, and horses you will enjoy all the "country" has to offer with easy access to the city.

Interested candidates can confidentially submit their CV to Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, Jennifer Harper at jennifer.harper@ethosvet.com.
