Vista Veterinary Specialists in Sacramento CA is looking for a board certified or individual residency trained in Ophthalmology to join us in our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Hospital.

We have an amazing team of caregivers who are a positive group of people creating an atmosphere of compassion and culture focusing on delivering exceptional client service and the highest quality medicine.

Our Specialties: Vista provides emergency/critical care, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and cardiology. Within our 9,000 square foot facility, there are dedicated specialty exam and treatment rooms, ICU, soon to arrive GE Revolution Evo 128 slice CT, high flow oxygen, ultrasonography, digital radiography, and full in-house laboratory. The best news...we will be moving to an 18,000 square foot state of the art full-service specialty and ER hospital in Summer 2025!

Our Team: In addition to our 9 seasoned emergency veterinarians, we currently maintain two board-certified criticalists, 2 board-certified internists, and several RVT’s and assistants. We are also supported by contracted services which include radiology, cardiology and surgery.

The base compensation for this role typically falls between 220k and 250K based on experience and qualifications. We also offer comprehensive health benefits, 401K, CE allowance, paid vacation, relocation assistance and a desirable work schedule
