Job Description

Charleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking a radiologist to join our expanding team!

CVRC was built out as a 16,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in 2011, with a full in-house lab, digital radiography, multiple ultrasound and echo machines, CT, MRI, EMG, fluoroscopy, in-house blood bank, and a full-service rehabilitation department. The ICU is equipped to provide the highest level of care, including mechanical ventilation. We have a full endoscopy suite with flexible and rigid scopes, a Stryker 1188 system for minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy), and a fully functional Cath lab. We are about to embark on an expansion, which will bring us to around 35,000 square feet.

CVRC is singularly committed to, and focused on, delivering exceptional patient care and an exceptional client experience. We have full-time, board-certified specialists in the disciplines of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Oncology, Behavior, and Rehabilitation. We have a team of 10 emergency clinicians, all either internship trained or with 3 years prior experience. We have a strong belief in a team-based approach to medicine.  Our specialists and emergency doctors work very closely together, with the emergency service supported 24/7/365 by our specialists, ensuring the best care from the time of admission to CVRC.  Our technical staff is highly skilled (including several VTS personnel in ECC and IM), and our patient care and client service are unparalleled. In 2013 we were certified as a VECCS Level 1 facility. CVRC remains the ONLY VECCS Level 1 facility in South Carolina.

We are seeking a radiologist who practices the highest quality of medicine and is committed to a collaborative team approach with the other departments. Candidates should be passionate, strive for excellence, have great interpersonal skills, and approach patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner. CVRC’s management team is committed to these goals and strives to support our clinicians.  We recognize that our clinicians and support staff are our most important assets, and we value each as both an employee and an individual.

CVRC offers an excellent and highly competitive benefit and compensation package. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, pet insurance, paid vacation, sign-on bonus, CE contributions, and a 401k plan with match.
