Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist who is confident, detail-oriented, and thrives in a busy clinical environment. This is more than a front desk role—it’s an opportunity to grow into a leadership/supervisor position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming, professional first impression for all clients and patients
  • Manage high-volume calls, scheduling, and appointment flow efficiently
  • Accurately check patients in/out and maintain medical records
  • Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions
  • Communicate effectively with DVMs and technicians to support workflow
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the reception area
  • Educate clients on services, products, and preventative care
  • Handle sensitive and emotional situations with compassion and professionalism

Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of veterinary receptionist experience REQUIRED
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and client communication
  • Experience with PIMS systems (Avimark, Cornerstone, ezyVet, etc.) preferred
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership qualities or interest in growing into a supervisory role
  • Positive attitude and strong team mentality

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday schedule
