Our clinic is located at 116 W Chestnut Street, just around the corner from Main Street in Downtown Denison. We are open Monday thru Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm (closed for lunch from 12:15pm – 1:15pm).

We are seeking a full-time experienced Lead Receptionist to join our team. The role of Lead Receptionist is crucial in supporting, motivating and training the Receptionist team to accomplish performance and business goals. This role will also be a critical member of the Hospital Leadership Team and will contribute to the success of business campaigns and various projects.

Responsibilities

- Provides day-to-day guidance and training to our Receptionist team.

- Collaborates with Hospital Leadership Team to establish performance & business goals and leads Receptionist team to achieve goals.

- Welcomes clients and visitors entering the clinic.

- Provides prompt & friendly assistance with all client and staff requests.

- Check-in appointments and prepare medical charts for next-day appointments.

- Answers phone calls on a busy, multi-line phone system.

- Schedules appointments according to hospital guidelines.

- Accurately invoices charges and processes payments.

- Maintains a well-organized filing system and promptly files medical charts.

- Corresponds with clients and business partners through emails, fax, and online platforms.

- Audits medical records and invoices for accuracy and completeness.

- Educates clients by demonstrating knowledge of hospital policies, products and services.

- Processes reports, audits payments, and prepares bank deposits.

- Maintains a clean & organized front lobby and workspace.

Required Skills:

- Providing professional & friendly customer service

- Administrative or receptionist experience

- Processing credit card, CareCredit, check and cash payments

- Strong knowledge of computer & technology use in an office setting

 - Knowledge of Microsoft 365
