Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital located in the heart of Hollywood, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners. The Veterinary Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. They will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients and their pets receive the highest level of care and attention. Responsibilities: - Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner - Schedule appointments and manage patient records in our electronic medical records system - Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries - Assist with billing and invoicing processes - Maintain a clean and organized reception area - Work closely with veterinary technicians and doctors to ensure efficient patient care - Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or animal-related field preferred - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Experience with veterinary medical records systems preferred We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization. - The base hourly range for this position is $22 - $30. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
