Job Description

Hometown Animal Hospital & Dental Clinic is looking to fill an opening for a Client Relations Specialist with opportunity for growth! 

A Client Relations Specialist performs check-in, check-out and basic receptionist duties. A typical day would include: answering phones, greeting clients, scheduling and confirming appointments, performing payment transactions, placing outbound calls, filing insurance claims, obtaining medical records, and other tasks. This position is requires computer proficiency, an outgoing personality, and weekend availability.

No medical or veterinary experience required! We're willing to teach the right candidates.

We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Greet clients and their pets
  • Make outbound calls to clients
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Prepare forms and estimated for appointments
  • Process payments
  • Submit insurance claims and follow-up to ensure payments are received
  • Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service
  • Inform clients about products and services offered

Qualifications

  • Prior phone experience required
  • Prior veterinary experience preferred, but not required
  • High school diploma or relevant work experience required
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent typing and computer skills
  • Familiarity with Avimark is a plus!
  • Bilingual applicants welcomed!
