Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist who loves both people and pets to join our team! The Veterinary Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and their pets, creating a welcoming experience while managing appointments, patient records and daily administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, respond to emails and text communications
- Schedule appointments
- Check patients in and out while ensuring accurate medical records
- Support clinic workflow by communicating effectively with doctors and technicians
- Handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain clean, organized and welcoming reception area
- Assist with inventory as needed
Preferred Skills
- Experience with veterinary practice management software
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology
- Cash handling and point of sale experience
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Prior veterinary experience is a plus, but Seven Oaks will train the right individual. We are looking for a person with the desire to learn and become a valuable member of an awesome team. That could be you!
