Job Description

Carver Street Animal Hospital is a 4-veterinarian small animal general practice, well-established in Durham, North Carolina. We are looking to add an engaged individual to join our customer service team on a full-time basis!

This position's main responsibility is to provide exceptional client service while maintaining a smooth and efficient flow of clients and patients through the animal hospital.  More specifically, the Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for greeting clients, determining the needs of the clients and patients, and completing the check-in and check-out process. The position requires a practical knowledge of the hospital's procedures and policies, as well as the ability to use multiple types of communication and record-keeping platforms. The Veterinary Receptionist is expected to perform the office duties related to patient care and treatment and to assist the Hospital Manager and doctors as needed.

This is a full-time position; scheduled days and hours may vary based on hospital need. Weekend work will be expected on a rotating basis.

Education/Experience:

  • High school degree, Bachelors degree a plus
  • Minimum of 6 months job-related experience required.
