About the position:

Barclay Hills is seeking a veterinary receptionist to add to our dedicated team.

 

Our veterinary receptionists should be ready to:

·         Provide excellent and expeditious client experience

·         Greet clients and respond to questions

·         Process incoming and outgoing pets

·         Handle payments and occasional cash

·         Ask for help and offer help to others.

·         Answer phone calls, which may involve answering questions, screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments

·         Handle incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail

·         Monitor client waiting area to ensure cleanliness

·         Document and maintain client information, service data and other pertinent information within business operations software.

·         Escalate complex matters to senior staff.

·         Be empathetic to our clients, coworkers, and yourself.

·         Grow as a professional and encourage the growth of others.

·         Be a part of monthly meetings to encourage open communication and collaboration.

·         Maintain a positive, supportive approach at all times, recognizing that remarkable results are achieved through teamwork and mutual respect.

·         Possess the confidence to own tasks and responsibilities to deliver positive outcomes.

·         Anticipate the needs of DVM staff, promoting efficiency and teamwork.

·         Enjoy yourself! If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience.  The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
