Job Description

The Animal Dental Center of Annapolis, Columbia, Towson, MD and York, PA:  


The Animal Dental Center of Maryland and Pennsylvania are offering a private practice 3-year AVDC approved residency training program in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery which will commence on July 1, 2025.  


This is a conforming residency training program that upon completion will lead to credentialing and eventual AVDC Board Certification.  We have (1) residency position available for a qualified individual; the resident must have a license to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Attainment of licenses at time of residency acceptance is acceptable. 


Applicants must have completed a 1 year rotating internship or have practiced three years in good standing in another U.S. state.  


Program benefits include extensive one-on-one mentoring with five (5) AVDC Board Certified Veterinary Dental Specialists, collaboration with residency trained associates (1) and current residents (6), highly progressive learning environment using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, a diverse and exciting case load, world-class C.E. training through the Animal Dental Training Center, and direct access and support from other on-site specialty practices. 


Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $65,000 1st year; $70,000 2nd year; $75,000 3rd year

Eligible for full medical benefits (health, vision, dental, etc.)

401K participation with company match when eligible

PLIT insurance, professional licensing, and professional dues

Paid continuing education

2 weeks PTO
