Southern Rockies Animal Emergency & Specialty Hospital (SRAESH) in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained veterinary surgeon to join our fast-paced and highly collaborative team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a ready-to-go surgical caseload built by our exceptionally busy, 24/7 emergency department. With no competing specialties on-site and a committed referral base already in place, this role is ideal for a surgeon eager to make an immediate and meaningful impact.

- Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) capabilities, standard endoscope, nitrogen drill
- Turn-key caseload fed by a robust ER that sees a high volume of surgical cases

- Strong internal culture with tenured staff (10–15 years) and a history of promoting from within
- Supportive mentorship network available across Colorado, including potential collaboration with other local hospitals
- Fun, client-focused culture, including community events like pet photos with Santa
What We’re Looking For:
- Residency-trained or board-certified veterinary surgeon (ACVS or equivalent)
- Comfortable with a mix of soft tissue and orthopedic cases
- A desire to build and shape the surgery service within a growing hospital
- Team-first attitude and enthusiasm for supporting ER and future specialty colleagues (we’re currently interviewing neurologists)
Compensation & Perks:
- Competitive base salary: $220,000–$280,000, depending on experience and qualifications
