, located in Latham, New York, is looking to add a board-certified surgeon or an individual who has completed residency training to join our well-established team.

About You:  We are looking for a surgeon who is talented, energetic, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our amazing team.  Adding a surgeon to our busy ER will greatly improve our ability to serve more pets in our community.


Our hospital: Our hospital includes 9 exam rooms, a newly renovated surgery annex with four surgery suites, arthroscopy, LigaSure, and an array of ortho and soft tissue instrumentation, a 40-cage treatment area with 6 treatment tables and an isolation suite. Diagnostic imaging capabilities include digital radiography, a CT and ultrasound for ER use. In addition to our 7 seasoned emergency veterinarians, we also have a criticalist and a dermatologist. We are actively working to expand our services to include internal medicine and radiology.  


Our experienced support staff:  We have an excellent group of technicians! 8 have been on staff for 10+ years and many have anesthesia experience.  Additionally, we have a former surgery tech on staff that is eager to support and bring surgery into CDVRH permanently.
