Are you ready to call North Carolina home? South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES) - formerly Upstate Vet, Asheville, is GROWING and looking for another small animal surgeon!

he fresh mountain air while working in our state-of-the-art hospital. Minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, scenic hiking trails, and a foodie paradise with 12 James Beard-nominated restaurants and our bustling dog-friendly brewery and bar scene, Asheville is calling your name. 


We recently expanded to a 28, 369 sq. ft. location and are increasing our caseload thanks to the support of a loyal referring community. Our fully equipped hospital already has everything a surgeon could ask for, including an Arthrex Synergy MIS tower and a full complement of instrumentation for laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and arthroscopy. Our new hospital also features intra-operative fluoroscopy and IR capabilities. 


The right candidate
will join a well-rounded team comprised of emergency doctors and specialists in critical care, internal medicine,

SAVES is fortunate to
