We want to add an experienced Veterinary Technician/Exam Room Assistant to our stellar team who is responsible with a great attitude, knows when to be serious and yet has the ability to laugh at themselves. PPAH team is strongly bonded; we have each other’s back and learn from each other. To succeed, you need to have excellent people skills, exceptional communication skills, can-do attitude, readiness to learn, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and jump in where needed. We are growing and generally have low-turnover so this is a rare opportunity to join our family. We cross train skills and promote from within.

The experienced Veterinary Technician/Exam Room Assistant should understand veterinary hospital processes, vaccine and test protocols, be skilled at pet handling, phlebotomy, lab and client education, and have the flexibility to adapt to different doctor styles and personalities. 

This is also an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong background in veterinary surgery, anesthesia montoring and experience with digital dental x-rays. Such candidate may expect their shifts to be distributed between surgery (roughly 75%) and exam room assisting (roughly 25%) .
