Job Description

An Emergency Technician Assistant plays a critical role in supporting technicians during emergency situations. They help with patient care, assist in procedures, and ensure the ER environment is clean, organized, and well-stocked. This role demands quick thinking, compassion, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Patient Care: 

  • Administer oral medications 

  • Monitor vital signs 

  • Assist with feeding, walking, and basic grooming 

  • Provide animal restraint for procedures like catheter placement and anesthesia  

  • Take care of all medical boarding patients in hospital 

  • Facility Maintenance: 

  • Clean and sterilize equipment and cages 

  • Laundry for entire hospital 

  • Maintain inventory and restock supplies 

  • Organize and sanitize ER and ICU areas, kitchen and boarding areas
