The Ideal Candidate:

  • You are a Certified Veterinary technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant, with solid understanding and experience in small animal anesthesia. 
  • A team player, you enjoy a fast-paced environment and can think critically on your feet
  • You are able to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated, dependable individual with a strong work ethic and a love for animals
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs

You possess clinical skills and experience that might include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Patient assessment and physical examinations
  • Phlebotomy, catheter placement & management of fluid administration
  • Highly capable surgical and procedural anesthesia nurse  
  • Utilizing different modalities of imaging for patient assessment, set up and use.
  • Assisting DVM's in patient diagnostics, treatment, and procedures
  • Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures such as CBC/Chem/SAA/fecal testing/IGG/PRP
  • Preparing, updating, and completing patient treatments and maintaining accurate medical records



Anticipated Schedule (TBD):

· Part-time flexible position available.  We will work with you to find a schedule that works.
