Credentialed/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT)

About the Role

Crossroads Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Credentialed/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our veterinarians to provide exceptional patient care while supporting a collaborative and positive hospital environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures 

  • Place intravenous catheters and manage fluid therapy during procedures 

  • Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic blood samples 

  • Conduct dental prophylaxis and obtain full-mouth dental radiographs 

  • Capture and properly position patients for general radiographs 

  • Assist with surgical preparation, patient monitoring, recovery, and accurate record keeping 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked surgical and treatment area 

  • Obtain patient histories and assist in exam rooms 

  • Educate clients on treatment plans, preventative care, and wellness recommendations 

  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care 

 

Qualifications

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) required 

  • Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support 

  • Strong technical skills in dentistry and radiology 

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities 

  • Comfortable working directly with clients and providing education 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care 

 

Schedule

  • Mix of day, afternoon, and late evening shifts 

  • Fridays are required 

  • Flexible scheduling with option for a 4-day or 5-day work week
