West Hills Animal Hospital is a busy, well established 4 doctor practice in the San Fernando Valley. We practice high quality medicine and offer superb customer service. Out hospital has been in this community for over 30 years and our clients are like family to us.

We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician with at least 2 years working in a hospital as a technician. You must be a reliable team player who is able to take initiative and jump in to help the team when needed. You'll need to be able to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations, have a positive attitude and a huge passion for helping animals and their families.

At West Hills you'll have the opportunity to utilize your skill set to the highest level and perform a wide range of procedures working with dogs and cats. Job duties include, but are not limited to blood/urine sample collection, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylactics with full mouth radiographs, surgical nursing, communication of treatment plans and client education.

We have top of the line equipment including, ultrasound unit, Idexx in house lab equipment, Heska IV pumps, Midmark monitoring equipment, Bair hugger patient warming system, digital x-ray/digital dental x-ray to name a few.

The salary range for this postion is $22-$25.00/hour depending on experience.
