Job Description

Metropolitan Animal Specialty Center is looking for a skilled and compassionate veterinary technician to join our internal medicine team. The successful candidate will work closely with our board-certified internal medicine specialists to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Responsibilities: - Assist veterinarians in performing diagnostic procedures, including blood work, urinalysis, and diagnostic imaging - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians - Provide compassionate nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering fluids, and providing post-operative care - Educate clients about their pets' medical conditions and treatments - Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with other members of the healthcare team Requirements: - Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or have equivalent experience - Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an animal hospital or veterinary clinic - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners

The base salary range for this full-time position is $28 - $35. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
