Veterinary Technician Lead

Countryside Veterinary Clinic of Richmond

Job Description

HELP WANTED: Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

(From the desk...uh...paws of your future patients)

Hi. Yes, I'm talking to you.

I'm a dog, or maybe a cat (depends who you ask - I contain multitudes). Either way, I visit this veterinary clinic, and let me tell you.....we need you.

Our humans are great. They try their best. But sometimes they get nervous, emotional, or ask a lot of questions. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Lead Licensed Veterinary TEchnician who can keep things running smoothly - for us and our humans.

What you'll do (according to me):

-Help the vet humans understand what's wrong with me (even when I refuse to make eye contact)

-Lead a team of other amazing staff (please be nice to them - they give the best treats).

-Stay calm when my human is stressed, woried, or....occasionally dramatic.

-Make sure my treatments, medications, and care are on point.

-Keep everything organized (because chaos is for zoomies, not clinics)

-Help teach the team new things so they can take even better care of me.

What I'm Looking For In You:

-You are a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Virginia.

-You've got leadership experience - or you're ready to step into it.

-You can handle a fast-paced environment without losing your cool (even when I wiggle).

-You communicate clearly with both humans and pets (bonus points if you speak "treat")

-You care deeply about patient care, teamwork, and making the clinic a positive place.

Perks (according to me):

-Unlimited tail wags and purrs.

-The occasional face lick (you are welcome)

-Being part of a team that truly cares about animals and each other.

-Opportunities to grow, learn, and lead.

-Competitive pay, benefits, and sign on bonus (the humans insisted I include this).

Important Note:

I may be scared sometimes. I may not sit still. I may pretend I've never had a treat in my life. But if you are patient, kinds, and confident - I'll trust you. And that matters.

So...what do you say?

Want to be my new favorite human?

Apply Today! I'll be waiting!
