Job Description

Are you a motivated, experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys leading a team, solving challenges, and helping a clinic run smoothly? Does your 5 year plan point you toward leadership and management? We are seeking a lead veterinary technician to join our team and play a key role in supporting both patient care and staff development.

This position is deal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can confidently delegate responsibilities, mentor team members, and professionally navigate challenging client interactions while maintaining a positive clinic culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and daily guidance to the technicians and assistant team.

-Delegate tasks efficiently to ensure smooth clinic workflow

-Assist in handling and de-escalating difficult or upset client situations with professionalism.

-Support training and continuing education initiatives for the technicial staff.

-Work alongside management with select supervisory and operational responsibilites.

-Maintain high standards of patient care, treatment protocols, and medical record accuracy.

-Collaborate with veterinarians and leadership to improve clinic processes and team performance.

Qualifications:

-Current Licensed Veterinary Technician Credential in VA.

-Prior leadership or senior technician experience a plus.

-Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

-Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

-Passion for mentoring team members and promoting professional growth.

-Commitment to excellent patient care and client service.
