I-20 Animal Medical Center located in Arlington, TX is a 24-hour, state-of-the-art facility specializing in emergency and critical services while maintaining routine wellness services such as annual vaccinations, spays and neuters. We are an AAHA accredited, AAFP Cat Friendly, and Fear Free certified hospital. We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician to join our team! I-20 Animal Medical Center’s veterinary emergency department is overseen by the only emergency and critical care residency-trained veterinarian in Fort Worth, Arlington, Mansfield and the surrounding area. As an accredited emergency and critical care veterinary hospital, we hold all our veterinarians and veterinary staff members to the highest medical standards and implement the latest life-saving procedures and treatments. We work as a team to provide round-the-clock monitoring and treatment to pets in our emergency facility.

About You:

·        Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue to develop your knowledge for years to come! We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!

·        You are an experienced veterinary technician with a minimum of 2 years veterinary experience (emergency experience is a plus).

Anticipated Schedule:

·        I-20 AMC is open 24/7 for emergencies

·        Appointments Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm Sunday- Emergencies only

·        Our technicians work a rotating 4 days on (12-hour shift) and 4 days off – so you can make the most of your time off!

·        We are in most need of overnight and swing positions

o   A sign on bonus of $1500 is offered for experienced techs in these positions!

o   $2 shift differential for overnight shifts

o   Shift bonus for extra shifts picked up!

Compensation: We believe that each team member should be compensated considering their knowledge, skills, and experiences. We expect the range for an experienced technician to be $20-25 per hour.
