Your Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you’ll bring your 2+ years of experience as a veterinary technician to help us provide exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate is proficient in placing catheters, monitoring anesthesia, taking radiographs, drawing blood samples, reading cytologies, answering phones and is comfortable talking to owners and educating them. Above all else is reliable and a team player. Familiarity with Intravet software is a bonus, but what truly matters is your dedication and expertise.

Experience:

  • Veterinary Technician: 2 years (Required)
  • monitoring anesthesia: 2 years (Required)
  • Veterinary terminology: 2 years (Required)
  • IV catheter placement: 2 years (Required)

Job Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule including some Saturdays
  • Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling
  • Must have computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must possess strong communication skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations
  • Excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, and working harmoniously with teammates is required
  • Takes initiative without needing constant direction or supervision
  • Can identify what needs to be done and begins tasks independently
  • Must be dependable, demonstrate strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation based on experience and future performance.
