Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to animals and supporting veterinarians in various medical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of veterinary practices and a passion for animal welfare, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment.

Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, including fecal exams, blood work and urinalysis.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, providing critical care when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Handle and care for animals in the kennel, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines and laboratory instruments.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Support grooming needs for pets as required.

Experience

Candidates must have minimum 1 year in Veterinary Clinic setting.
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Animal husbandry practices to ensure proper care and handling of various species.
- Veterinary critical care techniques to provide immediate assistance in emergencies.
- Familiarity with kennel operations to maintain a clean and safe environment for animals.
- Laboratory skills for conducting tests and analyzing results accurately.
- Proficiency in using X-ray equipment for diagnostic purposes.
- Understanding of veterinary terminology to communicate effectively within the team.
- Experience in pet grooming to assist with overall animal hygiene.
- General animal care skills, including feeding, bathing, and exercising animals.
- Knowledge of equine care may be beneficial for those working with horses or large animals.
