Job Description

You: Surgery savvy, anesthetically versed, experienced Veterinary Technician, seeking a cohesive team of medical professionals who are committed to quality patient care, efficient, 5-star client service and love living in the Valley of the Sun!

Us: AAHA accredited, modern, 5-doctor small animal practice, serving the Tempe and greater Phoenix area since 1986. We would like to add TWO experienced Veterinary Technicians to the Countryside Animal Hospital ’s compassionate team.

About you:

  • You are a Veterinary Technician (Experienced and/or Credentialed) with outstanding client service skills and excellent patient care .
  • You understand the importance of clear & effective communication among clients and team members and are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of patients & their families.
  • You enjoy enhancing your skill set as well as assisting your team members to achieve goals and in doing so elevate our patient care.
  • You are comfortable interacting with clients and confident in providing educational tools and resources that encourage client compliance
  • You possess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to):

o Patient assessment and physical examinations

o Phlebotomy and catheter placement

o Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique

o Routine dental prophylaxis experience

o Anesthesia monitoring proficiency

o Perioperative surgical nursing skills

o Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures

 

Anticipated Schedule (TBD):

· Full-time & Part-time positions available

· Day shift, with rotating weekend availability

· Our hospital is open:

o Mon – Fri, 7:30am – 6:00pm

o Saturday, 7:30am – 1:30pm
