Veterinary Technician (Non-Credentialed) – Part Time | Cottonwood, AZ 

Verde Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Technician to join our small but mighty team! We’re a single-doctor, general practice located in beautiful Cottonwood, AZ, serving our community with kindness, integrity, and high-quality care. This is a part-time role (25–35 hours/week), with scheduling based on the needs of the business.

What We’re Looking For: We're seeking a dependable, team-oriented individual who takes pride in being helpful wherever needed. The ideal candidate is customer service–minded, adaptable, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves—whether that means assisting in exam rooms, cleaning up a mess, or jumping in at the front desk. A strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are musts. We value reliability, initiative, and the ability to provide both pets and their people with an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the doctor with exams, procedures, and treatments

  • Performing in-house lab work, blood draws, sample collection

  • Administering vaccines and medications

  • Placing IV catheters and monitoring anesthesia

  • Providing compassionate restraint and patient care

  • Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a safe, sanitary hospital environment

  • Answering phones and assisting CSRs with scheduling and client communication as needed

  • Maintaining accurate medical records

  • Client education and discharge instructions

Requirements: 

  • Previous tech experience (non-credentialed is okay!)

  • Reliable transportation

  • A strong work ethic
