Veterinary Technician or Assistant Opening

We are looking for a Veterinary  Technician or Assistant join our team and provide excellent  animal care by determining animal requirements; assisting in examinations and diagnostic procedures; assisting during operations to include monitoring, prep, and recovery; feeding and caring for animals; maintaining supplies and equipment; maintaining record; rooming; taking vitals and history; filling prescriptions; providing treatments; and general care. Someone willing to clean, and work as part of a dynamic team. A Veterinary support position will also interact in a compassionate and understanding way with the public by answering phones, taking payments, assisting and working the front desk, data entry, and communicating with clients in rooms.

Necessary skills and qualifications:

Knowledge of Animal Behavior, Animal Husbandry, Documentation  and Data Entry Skills, Analyzing Information , Clinical Skills, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Performing Diagnostic Procedures blood/radiographs/slides,etc.,, Use of Medical Technologies, Attention to Detail, Patience, Verbal Communication, Computer Skills, keyboarding, Appointment setting- check in and check out, Phone Skills, Cash Handling skills, Organizational and goal setting/keeping skills.Engaging clients and discussing products.
