We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our ever-growing Sahuaro Vista team. We are a high volume 2 doctor general practice clinic. We’ve been part of the Oro Valley community for nearly 32 years. Our services include wellness visits, vaccines, sick appointments, x-rays, surgeries, ultrasound, in-house labs and a variety of diagnostics.

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients, patients and co-workers.

  • Must have at least 1 year of vet assistant/vet tech experience
  • Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients
  • Proficient in monitoring anesthesia
  • Safely holding and restraining patients
  • Administering vaccines
  • Drawing blood and placing catheters
  • Able to work weekends
  • Exceptional at multi-tasking in a busy environment
  • Able to provide excellent client service
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Terrific team player

Education:

 

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

 

Experience:

 

  • Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Vet tech: 1 year (Preferred)
