Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience. The ideal candidate is confident in both technical and client-facing responsibilities and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Perform diagnostic tests including blood work, urinalysis, and imaging prep
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care and general wellness
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Veterinary Technician
- Veterinary Technician certification/license preferred (if applicable)
- Strong knowledge of animal care, handling, and restraint techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
