We are looking for a compassionate and motivated veterinary nurse for our progressive, state of the art, 5 veterinarian small animal GP. We are a 14k sq ft hospital that offers a variety of modalities to ensure compassionate veterinary care. We have been providing veterinary services in Tracy, CA since 2002 and we deeply care about our community and the animals that live here.
Applicant must be available to work evenings and Saturdays. (Please do not apply unless you can meet this requirement.)
We ask that the applicant be able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment. Should be comfortable with small animals, pocket pets, exotics, humane euthanasias, as well as seeing extreme cases that our local animal services bring to us. We work closely with Tracy Animal Services, CHP and local rescues because we are passionate about helping our community and advocating for pets that need us the most. We require the ability to communicate effectively to pet parents and team members alike. We offer the highest level of care to our patients and we are looking for a tech to uphold our standards of ethical care. We also strive for optimal pet parent experience while their pet is here with us so compassion and empathetic people skills are necessary.
We encourage special interests such as surgery, dentistry, dermatology, exotics, oncology, behavior, ophthalmology, and anything you may have a passion for. We firmly believe in continuing education and frequently hold relevant lunch-n-learns and monthly webinars. We require our team to continuously learn about the advancements in veterinary medicine so we can then provide the best medicine to our pet patients.
Digital radiology (including dental), dental units, ultrasound, full in house laboratory, EKG, Doppler, surgery suite, o2 chambers, and more on the premises.
